icd and pacing

I can only speak of my experience.
I have an ICD, replacing a pacemaker due to a sudden cardiac arrest resulting from ventricular arrhythmias.
I recently was paced out of an arrhythmia, and my rates for being paced out of the arrhythmias would be too fast to feel--I think 288 is what the EP said, with me taking beta blocker. I've been paced out quite a few times, but not shocked. I've had my ICD 1 1/2 years.
Send an upload and ask the EP to check. Or, ask to go in for an interrogation if you don't have the ability to upload the ICD. My EP was aware of the event, as he's been with other events where I've been paced out of ventricular rhythms.

I am just thankful that I am alive and that even though I have this pacemaker it is not the end of the world.

I'm 5 weeks in to my icd implant and I feel it has made everything worse, always get these light chest pains that I never got before and they last up to an hour at times, dizziness is a lot more frequent.
Honestly wish I never got it
