Newbie

I'm relatively new to this as well. It is definitely a learning curve. The "reveal" was unsettling but I am getting used to my new normal, what choice do we have?! and I'm sure in time it will be transparent. Best wishes.

Having a positive attitude is 90% of the whole pacemaker process.   Your name  "Unsinkable" shows that you have just that. You will be fine and will soon realise that your new normal is not that much different to the old before you ever had heart problems.

If you had called yourself " Titanic"  I would have been slightly worried .

Told the Mrs. because it makes you feel that you're on your LAST LEG! Yeah! Yeah!! I know we ALL have too FACE our own MORTALITY and there's NO getting skirting around that OLD Booger! But I'm doing better now,  I guess like them Hip Hop Boys always like to say ""IT IS WHAT IT IS"" Plus like what else can we do just like you said above??? ""IT IS WHAT IT IS""

Yes, the wound doesn't look very pretty at first. But it will heal, faster than you think. Today, 6 years on, my scar is hardly visible.

You might feel a little rocky now, but give it time. Hopefully, your "new normal" will be that you feel better than you have in years.

Your attitude is good. That makes all the difference.

You know you're wired when...

Jerry & The Pacemakers is your favorite band.
