PVCs and Incision site keloid

I am 49 years old and received a PM implant in January for SSS. During the process of diagnosis, I found out that I have irregular heartbeats (or extra heartbeats?) or PVCs. I am more aware of PVCs after the implant. Or now when I don't feel completely ok, I know I am having PVCs. I feel them almost every day for a little bit and they go away. Sometimes they last for a few days and make me feel uncomfortable. When they are more severe, I feel them in my throat. I have talked to my EP about this and he assures me that they are completely benign and that I shouldn't worry about them. I am trying to ignore them but they affect my endurance while I exercise. I notice a significant reduction in my endurance. I have been taking Magnesium and limit intake of coffee and alcohol. I have been trying to figure out a pattern when these occur. But I can't figure out. Can anyone share their thoughts on this?

Another less significant issue I have is the keloid at the incision site. It is red, ropey and prickly. The nerves have not healed completely yet. My undergarments land directly above the site and its just irritating. I have tried Vit E oil but doesn't seem to be working much. It is a minor irritant compared to many other complications that could have occured. So trying to keep things in perspective. Just wanted to see anyone has experienced it and know a solution.

Thank you

Magnesium . Keloid

I would avoid taking magnesium unless you are shown to have a deficiency . It is not without causing physical symptoms in excess. If taken regularly your body will excrete it in greater quantities than normal anyway, so what's the point?

Keloid can be treated with steroids into the area ( by injection) and some special silicone  dressings, or silicone gels.

Robin1, we are glad you are here as well. You are right. Getting upset about any of this is not helpful. I am not particularly worried about PVCs but I am annoyed when they interfere with my exercise routine and makes me feel not my best. But just have to deal with it I guess.
Spraying benadryl is interesting. I will try that.

Selwyn, thank you for the magnesium information. I wonder why the doctors don't give this informtation. I have to look into silicone dressing/gel. Thanks for the info.  I don't really want to inject anything at the site if possible.

Thankful for this club and for all the helpful people here.
