biventriculer pacer

How long does it take to start feeling better after a biventriculer implant?

VERY individualistic

Not only do people heal differently but they have different reasons for needing the pacemaker and are in quite different physical shape when they get it.  I'd be really worried if it didn't help at all, however.

Recovery after BIventricular pacemaker

I had my pacemaker implanted six months ago.  My EF was up to 65% at five months post op.  It’s difficukt to generalise but I was told 12 months to feel really good. 6 months much better, 3 months most of soreness gone.  I have severe kidney disease and type 2 diabetes and it was these causing me issues.  Now I’m on insulin/Metformin I feel so much better and mob kdneys are more stable.  I'm nearly 64 and not in great shape and I do get tired after exercise.  But I can see improvements every single week. Good luck.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
