Abscess at incision site after 1&1/2 months after implnt

Has anybody had this problem where the abscess was not found until 1&1/2 months later? What was your treatment and did you have to have the pacemaker removed & then replaced after the infection was cured?

Without question after any surgery infection can show up after the incision looks healed on the surface.

Thank goodness, I've never faced that problem, but if I had any doubts about what my doctor was telling me, I would get a second opinion, from an electrophysiologist, speedily. There's no time to waste.
