My New Friend's Name
Hi Everyone!
As a Newbie and scared I read a post that said it helped to name your device...So that is what I did; or rather what my family did.
My son created a spreadsheet and sent a group text to my immediate family telling them of a contest to name Mom's new best friend. Each one got to submit 3 names and after all were submitted he shared with them the results at which time everyone voted on the name they liked best. (You were not allowed to vote on a name you previously submitted).
The name my family chose for my PM is GARY!!! The meaning and reason was appointed special. They said...Your heart belongs to two men...God and Larry (my husband)....So Gary it is! And even better! My 16 year old granddaughter submitted it! So everyone...Hello from Gary and me❤️

I love the name - and the care from your family in helping you name it.
I named my PM Elliot - after Pete's Dragon. It is always with me, a constant protector, and others only know it is there when I want them to know - otherwise it is invisible. Just like Pete's dragon.

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.

Hello Gary... from "I don't know my name yet!"
After getting on for three months, I still haven't named mine, just can't think of one. I'm waiting for inspiration I guess. As mine is a St Jude's also, I thought "Jude", then decided, no.
Perhaps it will let me know when it's ready. After all, it's a clever little package sitting there in my chest, it should be able to choose a name for its self!
