Any news about Boston Scientific solution for Minute Ventilation issue?

Just wondering if any more news has come to light about the problems with Boston Scientific’s Minute Ventilation issue that has resulted in some patients having their MV switched off until a software patch can be installed.

I was supposed to see my cardiologist in June, but as he will be away overseas, the appointment will now be in late July.

I was hoping to hear something by now especially as the Advisory Notice was issued last December/January.

I spoke with Boston Scientific customer service person several days ago, and she said the fix has been submitted to FDA. They are wating for approval. Hopefully it will be soon. You can call their customer service or email them and they will call you back and answer any questions?

Thanks Skeet. I am still concerned that my device model isn’t listed in the Advisory Notice, and has had the problems described in other similar devices, and this will be the first question for my cardiologist.
