Pacemaker/ breast implants

I have just been told I need to get a pacemaker pretty quickly . I forgot to mention to the doctor that I have breast implants. Will this be a problem? Thx

You definitely want to tell your doctor, but breast implants should not be a problem. The pacemaker is normally implanted considerably above any breast tissue.

But be sure to tell him before surgery! You also might want to consider asking your plastic surgeon to assist with the pacer surgery. Cardiologist are good at the heart, plastic surgeons are good at making things look and feel good. Two of my 5 have been done with both a plastic and cardio surgeon.
