Saunas
Does anyone know if a regular sauna is okay? I've heard that a FAR infrared sauna is not good because it penetrates so deeply that it can overheat the device. But, I don't know about a regular sauna.

I have used a regular sauna a few times since having a pacemaker, but I agree with AgentX86 and am more concerned about the rest of me overheating before the pacemaker suffering! So I tend to use saunas in moderation, say 10 minutes in my case, and prefer the hot tub anyway!
depends why you are paced

Having a pacer isn't a reason to stay out of a sauna, but the underlying reason why you need it might make it a bad idea. Ask your doctor.

I am no expert, but I believe that without the defibrillator that I have, I would be dead.

If you're overheating the device, you're cooking yourself.
