Swollen left ankle

I had my pacemaker fitted 8 weeks ago, but recently my left ankle swells up during the day the last few days I have had a pain in my calf

This may be due to the hot weather but it is only 1 ankle the right one is fine, has anyone else had any problems with a swollen ankle.

If only I could make the swelling occur in strtegic areas.

It's called Edema amd is fluid build up from a poorly pumping heart. Many heart patients take diuretics to manage the problem. It can be dangerous...call your Cardiologist immediately if not sooner

Swelling in one leg only

Swelling legs isn't uncommon in this hot weather. But if it's painful, and the swelling is in only one leg, don't ignore the possibility of a blood clot, which is potentially serious. Talk to your doctor.
