My pacemaker was installed Sept 2017. I've had no problems until today. I had palpitations that were not as extreme as before the pacemaker. Is this normal?

I had palpitations for the first time since my pacemaker was installed. I may have stood too close to a microwave while it was in operation..

I'm not sure what you're saying. Are you saying that you've had none, after your pacemaker was implanted, until today? Or that you've had them but they're not as bad as they were?
What is the cause of the palpitations? AFib? Paroxysmal?
