Low heart rate with PM

I had a PM put in a week ago. I had low heart rate in the 30s and 40s. I was dizzy. light headed, tired, and actually throwing up from it all. The PM is set at 60 so I thought that imy hear rate would stay steady at 60 in a resting state.  Every time they checked my heart rate at the hospital it was in the 40s but they didn’t seem to be concerned. Now that I’m home checking it it is still in the 40s and I still feel like crap. What’s going on?

Something isn't right. A little under 60 is ok but that's a lot under. It's possible a lead is dislodged and not pacing.

What I would do...

Hi there!   My doctors have me set at 60 bpm also.  If my heart rate was to go down, I would call and talk to the nurse that is in charge of keeping track of all the patients with pacemakers.  They can do adjustments.  When you go in for your first checkup they have you sit there while they speed it up....then they slow it down...its kind of strange when they do that. When they lower it I feel temperarily like I did before I got it put in.  Not good.  I know exactly how you feel.  You should be feeling so much better than that.  I just got mine put in last Christmas and feel really good.  Please call them.  I hope you feel better.  :)
