Increase in a-fib symptoms

I was always lucky enough that I rarely had symptoms with my atrial fib.  Since the placement of my PM my symptoms are much more pronounced.  I have more dizziness, more chest discomfort, more palpitations, arm discomfort, shoulder discomfort, just to name a few.  Did anyone else notice an increase in symptoms folliowing their pacemaker placement?

Unfortunately I had the exact same thing happen. My EP at the Mayo Clinic was not pleased with where the lead in my atrium was placed by the doctor who put in the PM. I had to have a new lead put in due to the fact that the placement of the upper lead was in fact causing these AFib issues. I hope this is not the same for you. I wish you all the best!

Thank you.  My EP told me that it would be highly unusual for me to be so symptomatic due to PM.  I am pretty sure he is incorrect.
