Cross Trainer

That's something to ask your EP and PM tech.  Since I'm PM dependent and have no escape rhythm, my EP is very conservative with my restrictions.  I'm sure he would say "no way" but it may be fine for you, as long as you don't feel any wierdness on it. This is in a gray area, where you really need to talk to the experts on you.

No Problems Here Whatsoever

When the weather is good I cycle, but during the winter months I alternate between a turbo trainer with fluid resistance and a cross trainer with electromagnetic resistance. I've had no problems whatsoever with the cross trainer and the only precaution I take is not to let the pacemaker get too close to the flywheel while I'm cleaning the cross trainer. On the odd occasion when I've forgotten nothing bad at all has happened.

Prior to buying the cross trainer I was considering a rowing machine but in the end decided to go with the cross trainer because the jury seems to be out on the affects of a rowing machine on the pacemaker leads.
