Fear of infection?

Hi, 

I am 65 y.o female. Got my Medtronic CRTP implant 2 months back. Sometimes I feel a twitching/ burning pain above the pm site, which appears a bit swollen and also took the longest to heal. I have no fever or any pain around the site. I feel normal. There is no fluid effusion from the site however on closely looking at the swollen stich a very small oil drop like liquid (pale yellow) appears on the inside of the stich. Could it be symptom of an infection?

Infections are deadly serious. If there is ANY doubt, see your EP immediately. If you can't get an appointment within 24 hrs, go to the ER now.

I had my blood and urine cultures 1 month back. Which was normal.. I also had my ct scan done 1 month back. Which also showed no signs of any vegetation. I think I'll get a blood culture done asap just to be sure.

Blood cultures can come back normal even with an infection. The infection can be confined to the pacemaker pocket so all bloods come back normal.
