A pacemaker senses electrical signals coming from the heart and sends a tiny electrical signal to the heart to tell it when to beat. That's all it does.

It can't monitor or regulate bp.

My BP has gone from normal to 160/84 and I’m sure my PM is emitting an intermittent beeping sound.

Beeps usually mean low battery. Call your doctor and ask why your model might be beeping.
