New PM patient

Received my pm 2 days ago. Looking forward to end of recovery period. After 3 cancer surgeries over the last 30 years, heart/pulse issues are a new wrinkle in my life. Glad to have found this club. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot from it.

Spo, what's happening?  ;-)

i am wondering if you are having much pain? I received mine two days ago also and I was hoping to just bounce back to my normal self, but I am having some sharp  pains and sorenes just below the implant.

The only pain of the surgery I’m experiencing is by the bandage. Because this is the first day I can shower and change dressing, I will be able to soon see and feel more of the actual site location. This morning I peeled a corner of the tape away from my armpit, and it seems that has lessened the restriction I felt there.

Also, moving my shoulder is painful. I was warned the shoulder may stiffen, so I’ve made sure to straighten my elbo and rotate the shoulder a little to alleviate stiffness.

Hope you get answers for your situation. All the best.
