Incision pain

About 71/2 weeks post op, incision is healed, without redness or increased warmth, but still get a brief sharp like a needle stick pain at time, nothing rubbing and no irritation noted, just a random pain.  Has anyone else had this type of discomfort this long after surgery?

We get all sorts of random aches, shooting pains, tingly feelings over the first few months. It's the nerves knitting back together. If it bugs you, ice may help, but usually it's more weird than painful.

I got the needle stick pain you described, a different pain that felt like an ant bite, and a sensation of an insect crawling around in my chest.  These sensations were very brief, seconds only, and randomly happened every few days, weeks, then months. By the 1 year mark, they had disappeared completely.
