Still not up to par!

Well hello pacer family,
I hope all of you are doing well. I am still trying to catch up on posts but have discovered it may take me forever to accomplish that.
I spent my first week out of a dr office or the Er in a month period it was nice but I know I need to get back in and figure out why my swelling is so intense in my chest.
I had a problem appear this week that I have not experienced yet and it was my first time. My pm is turning and moving in odd positions on me. I was sleeping and had a very annoying poke that turned into so much pain that turned into my left hand going numb. I grabbed my chest to see that my pm was sitting straight up and I could feel it.
I assume that this is the reason why my swelling has occured and it's the first time I felt it. I know of the twiddler syndrome where people rotate there pm around but I don't do that and don't get how people can exactly. It seems so painful. I have a lead that pokes my scar but they won't do surgery on that because its not poking through.
I was wondering if anybody has had this before and if it is as painful as mine. Also how does this happen? Why does it hurt so horrible when it does.
To get it to go back to normal I have to make sure my shoulder is in a certain position and does not move around. This entire experience is new too me. I don't know if I move up my visit with the Dr or leave it where it is at or not. I would be interested to know if any of you could explain to me how it moves around but everytime the dr moves it back and forth in the past it seems to be staying in place. Has this happened at all to anybody or am I all alone? They do continue to say I am weird maybe I just am around to keep Drs on there feet still.

Thanks and much love to you all,
Tammy

I would be interested to know how your implant was done. I have had mine since 10/2/09. I was told the Dr. would take a stitch or two & secure the PM, then "sew" my implant area together. So far, as of today, my PM has not moved that I am aware of. Since you are not the first person I have read this from, I would be interested why it is moving or has space to move?

I hope all the best for you. Take care, Carolyn G. of TEXAS

Hi Carolyn,
As far as I have always grasped mine is also stitched in place. I have not seen a dr for this yet but I assume that stitches can dissolve away maybe. I am not positive on that I don't get why it is moving either but my first one did a little but not as intense as this one.

Take care,
Tammy
