What is this

I have had a dual lead Pacemaker for almost a year and a half now after being diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome.  I also have a fib and I'm on medication for same. The PM was placed on the right side of my chest due to lymph node removal on the left side. About two weeks ago I woke up laying on my left side in bed with my heart pounding and my blood pressure running higher at times.  Usually when this happens I lay on my back or get up for a while and it settles down, this time it didn't and my heart is still knocking. I had a PM interrogation last week everything checked out fine with no a fib. Also saw my PCP last week and he couldn't find anything.

It feels like my leads are knocking against something. Nerve...muscle.  I feel the heart beat in my stomach, my head, My chest.  So uncomfortable. I don't know what else to do. Anyone have experience with anything like this?

A loose lead might act like that but 1) it's virtually unheard of after the first few months. After a year it's in so tight it would take a laser to get it out and 2) if it's moving, the impedance would change and it would show up on the interrogation report. Have you had a Holter?

Item (2) is encouraging.   I haven't had a holter for this as of yet.  Thanks,
