8 weeks post op - new pain

I just passed my first 8 weeks since my PM implant. I am on Pradaxa and Metropolol. I do not take these at the same time every day, but I do manage to get them taken twice a day.

I have resumed normal activities, including my favorite exercise in a golf game (9 holes last week-plan on 18 Monday).

So today a new pain started bothering me and thought I would get some input from the group. I have a checkup Dec 4, and I will discuss it then too. But this pain is about a 6 (I have a high pain tolerance) and is like a localized, squeezing cramp in the left side of my chest. That’s it. During the episodes, every minute or two, I would get a pain contraction that would last a few seconds, then be gone. This lasted for a half hour or so, while we were out at dinner. No other symptoms like flushing or pain in my back or arms or jaw.

I know the PM doesn’t monitor pain, per se, but will it pick up any heart attacks or anomalies like this?

Thanks for your input.

If there is ever the slightest doubt with chest pain, go to the ER. That said, when we get back to activity, we are using muscles that haven't been used in a while and we have fresh scar tissue building around a foreign object, nerves are knitting back together. So, weird feelings happen. Ice may help.
