Recent news articles haven't given much credence to the U.S.'s FDA approval techniques. The U.S. FDA approval bar is lower than other countries, altho this device appears to have the wind at its back ------ let's see where it goes!!

FDA is a mess, mostly in the pocket of lobbyists and special interests. Some things get rushed through with little testing, other things have been safely used in Europe for years but can't get approval here, known carcinogens get the nod. I don't think I'd want one of the first ones but it's still exciting to watch where this goes. Rechargeable technology will be huge for us.

This is the first I've seen it but it looks like a rechargeable CRT-type device. I knew they were working on rechargeable technology but had no idea it was that close to FDA approval. How awesome.
