Pinching & Tenderness 7 post implant

Currently going on 7 weeks post implant. My dominant arm is the left, while at work my arm and around the ICD was sore. I feel that the next morning the implant seems a little more pretruding than usual. Also feel some pinching sensation mainly around top the ICD. Is that normal?

You'll get some different feelings around the area as the underlying tissue heals.  The device may appear to protrude more or less as your body is more or less hydrated.  It just depends.  Healing of underlying tissue goes on for some time.  It took mine most of a year to completely heal.

As long as you aren't running a fever or the site is very sore, you usually don't have to worry.

Hope everything else is going well for you.

Same here, I'm  9 weeks post implant and every now and then feel some pinching pain around the PM site.Drives me crazy and get me anxious. Thanks to Theknotguy for letting us know that it takes a while for the inside tissue to heal.

I'm 5 weeks out and I get the pinching too.  Mostly on the sternum side but sometimes on the arm side as well.  I figure it's by muscles getting used to the device, although sometimes I worry that where the leads go into the artery may be unhappy.  I see the EP in 4 weeks and have been to clinic twice.  Still trying to figure out if I need to do a rate change.
