Finally able to update.

Well hello friends! After my week long hospital stay and finally getting enough energy to get on the computer and type more. I am very curious to know how many people have had a similar type of blood clot that I have.
I have what is called svc syndrome. I had a 99.9% blockage they got most of it and now i'm on blood thinners. I spent four days in ICU and 3 days on the regular floor.
I still have some fluid on my chest. I also experience blood in my heart sac. I didn't realize how painful that really was. They had to stab me with a needle about 40 times and I was awake with no painkillers for the entire event. It took 18 people in the room that helped save my life.
Through the entire thing I was not concerned about death and didn't think I was dying though I guess I was very blue to the face and scared a lot of Dr's and nurses. Also, many family members and friends.
The hardest part for me right now is dealing with people walking up to me and saying we didn't think you were going to make it. We weren't planning on you being around still. This is all I heard over the 4th weekend and it was very irritating for me. I don't know how to handle that. I questioned my mom on how people have so much doubt that God can heal and will take care of you.
I appreciate all of you that have kept up with me and have kept me in your prayers. I'm on the road to recovery with lots of pain killers and a lot of blood thinners.
I hope each of you are doing well and please know y'all are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,
Tammy
