2nd pacemaker

hi everyone can someone please advise me i am currently on my 2nd pacemaker the first removed due to infection 6 months ago i am in terrible pain behind the pacemaker no rash or redness but feel as if something not right currently taking oramorph three times daily for pain but that isn’t working now any advice TIA

Not sure what we can say here, maybe someone has been through that.  I would assume the answer is call the doc or go to the emergency room if you feel you cant wait.  

Not sure how your 6 months went, but the first so many days to weeks after a pacer implant can involve pain.  It should in fact.  But as you move and pull on the skin, and add/remove pressure on the device, etc.  I have had five.  first night was pretty much constant on the last one (dont remember the others, too long ago, will forget this one soon), next day much better, took a few days to get through the night, weeks before I could sleep on either side.

No way to know from your description as to whether this is normal or if you have something exceptional, esp with what happened with your first one.  Also I am in the USA dont know how things work in the UK.  I would call my doc or go to the ER if I felt something exceptional was happening that I couldnt deal with.
