That one is brand new and I haven't ridden it yet but I will be there this week and will check it out. I suspect it's ok. It's usually only the coasters with fast start/stops that we have to be careful of and I don't think this one goes fast enough to warrant magnetic brakes. The only one at Disney I'm aware of with magnets is the Aerosmith coaster. I also avoid Hulk at IoA and Manta at Seaworld. I've been paced 20+ years, live in FL and have had annual passes to both Universal and Disney.

Book your fastpasses early! That one and the Avatar ride (Animal Kingdom) are the hardest to get these days.

Magnetic brakes are very strong and can interfere with the pacer. It won't hurt it but it may put it temporarily in test mode. They tend to use magnetic brakes on newer rides with very fast start/stops, mostly high speed coasters.

You can ask, but if they want to know why you are asking they may limit what they let you ride so that's not what I'd do. Maybe do the "asking for a friend" thing lol.

I would look at the ride. Does it have a really fast start that propels it? Does it have a super fast stop? From what I can tell, it's more like the 7 dwarfs or Everest and relies on gravity and smooth tracks for propulsion. If that's the case, it's fine.

To be perfectly honest? I wouldn't hesitate to ride it. Most of the rides with magnetic brakes I stay off because I don't want to ride them (I HATE upside down) not because I'm afraid of them. Even with magnets, worst case they'll just make us feel weird til we get away from it.
