How many here "play" with their Rx drugs? An example: A year ago, I was taking drug "C" at 12.5mg - I then signed up to try the drug "Entresto" - didn't work for me a major dizzy (or was it vertigo?) event occurred. Next in line was "Metoprolol" @ 100mg. Gave that up recently. Back to "C" @ 3.125mg 2X daily - until I am "stable." What does "stable" mean? - Don't know yet. Maybe the dosage I was taking over a year ago would be more effective?

What is drug 'C' ? Be more specific. If you can tolerate a beta blocker, it will benefit you greatly. Toprol XL is about the best and more tolerable than Coreg.

I also could not tolerate Entresto. My skin starting have a severe burning sensation after about a month. I have sensitivity to a lot of meds. I was very disappointed that I could not take it.

Heart meds aren't anything to mess around with! Don't make any changes without talking to your doctor. It's for sure trial and error and can take a while to get it right, but don't do it on your own.
I do mess with my blood pressure meds, however my doctor knows and we've discussed it. If I take the full dose, I get too low. Skip and I get too high. So I check every morning and switch up diuretic and half of a lisinipril as needed.
