Thanks Tracey E you have read my story as much as I have read yours.  

I would love it if we were the last generation to have to deal with this.  At the same time am so glad the tech is here and they are putting them in little ones.  Just think about the ones our age that didnt make it because the pacers werent there or the docs with the guts/experience to use them.

You are so right! If I'd been born the same year as my mom, I wouldn't have seen my 30th birthday. I think the generation of kids now is going to have it similar to us but there is so much exciting research going on- leadless, rechargeable, stem cell- that hopefully their kids can be cured.
