Weight training

PM inserted last July.

Ok to resume weight training at my prior pace whch included handling heavy weights?

Prior to the PM insertion, I lifted regularly since I was 65. I'm 82 now.

Thanks, Ed

Assuming you are cleared for exercise and the pacer isn't positioned so you'd put excessive pressure on it, then it should be fine. Some doctor are more conservative in their restrictions than others but my doc said if I feel good, go for it. I deadlift more than my bodyweight and do triple digits overhead with my ep's blessing.

I'm all in !!

At 75 - Bench is now 190 pounds,my goal is 200+.  What I did find is that some of the streching and exercises was pushing Sparky into my shoulder as mine is on the surface under the clavicle, so "if you feel that, simply don't do that".  With your docs blessing, GO FOR IT !!

I think I'll stick with machines instead of free weights.

Thanks for your input.
