Nobody can answer that. We're all different and heal at different rates, not to mention our conditions are different. Have some patience you'll get there.

Everyone is different, and a lot will depend on if the pacer fixes what's wrong or is more of a bandaid. I was told I could walk as soon as I felt up to it but not to get sweaty for 30 days. That wasn't because of the pacer but infection risk. I felt pretty good and was back to my routine within a week, tho I was moving slowly and napped more days than not. It was more like a month until I was fully my old self.

I was back to the gym in two weeks, once I could drive.

Still trying to get my endurance back - and also dealing with pvcs, pacs, and tachycardia....but it feels amazing to move again.

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
