HIS Bundle Pacing

by Swangirl - 2019-04-25 13:02:21

Thanks Terry for this information which does not seem widely known or addressed on this site.  Fortunately my cardiologist placed my lead in the HIS Bundle last year 4/2018.  People who are just getting a PM would be wise to ask about this before their surgery to make sure their cardiologist is up to date on this.  All kinds of bad outcomes are possible if the leads are not placed correctly.  It's dangerous and high risk to revise the lead placement later so it's crucial that the surgeon get it right the first time.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
