Hi everyone ! today I have been told I need a ILR because I have had coughing syncopy which is (coughing then collapsed )
my questions are....
can you drive when you are fitted with this device ?
Also I have had a breast augmentation 10 years ago. will they be able to put the device in and leave the implants alone

Yes, you can drive. Whether you should drive is another matter. It's a question you need to take up with your doctor.

I have only had one coughing syncope. I was going through a miscarriage a chest infection and was on steroids and antibiotics for it I coughed couldn’t get enough air and body rebooted that’s the first one I’ve ever had I have spoken to the doctor and they have advised me not to drive for 6 months which I haven’t been doing

Driving with a loop recorder isn't problem. It's a passive device. Driving when you're subject to syncope, what? ARE YOU CRAZY? You're going to kill yourself. ...and maybe take ME, along with you.
