I am grateful to hear other people with post op throat and neck pain.  I also thought about it being related to thyroid?  I have the same pain with moving from laying down and from getting up.

I had some fainting while swallowing solid food which was the root of my arrhythmia. I wonder if that’s perhaps what the pain is from?

I see my Doc Friday and will mention this posting. She has been great at listening to me pre-op.  We will see.

Thanks for mentioning this. I feel better knowing that I am not the only person.

One of the major reasons for a support group,  in my humble opinion,  to share experience.  PaceMaker Club's major support to me is knowing other respected members are having the same issues I am struggling with.

I also want to point out there are several reasons for what you are experiencing.  Such as there is a big strong muscle that goes across your shoulder and pulls on your neck.  Find a Atonomical modle of the human body and you will see how your muscles and tendons could ne causing the problem.  If you are not using muscles and tendons after an injury they shrink form scar tissue and hurt.

You know you're wired when...
