This pain!!

I am 26 days post op from PM and still experiencing a great deal of pain.  My site area feels tight, heavy and burns. Stretching of sort is terrible. I have been to see the technician and all appears fine.  Anyone have any feedback on real recovery time??  I am already sick of living with this.

I am almost 4 months post op from an ICD insert. My left shoulder and arm pit area area are very painful at times. This is the worst pain I have had for this surgery. I don’t have a frozen shoulder but If I stretch to reach something....... ouch!!!!! Where is your pain area?

Cheryl,. Thank you for the comment.  Well, pain at present is focused near incision, arm pit and shoulder area.  Sometimes pinching and tight. I noticed a few short pinching in shoulder blade and small of my neck. I assume nerve reaction to surgery.  On the outside, all is healing well.  No redness, not swollen.  I can't figure it out.  Talked with professional, not much happening there.  I guess, I will just move forward.  You were kind to post.  Julie

Getting used to all the works sometimes I have burning around the incision area as well. It has healed very nice and I have just a thin line scar. But sometimes at the tip top of it near my neck hurts and feels like it pinches and burns. Getting used to all the dings And twerks that comes and goes.

Pacemaker

I have it implanted 3 months ago.  The pinching sharp pain get worse almost everyday.

Checked with my doctor, he said it could be the nerve, when I asked how long will I

have to live with this but no definite answer from him.  The pinching pain is above the

incision around and on the lead area.   Anyone experience that?
