Stents

Hi everyone, just a question for all of you out there. I got my PM on 30 September so two months now. Before getting this done I had to have two stents put in due to the blockage in blood vessels. I was just curious if any of you also have both? Stents and a PM

Hello Kettlebell man,

yes hubby had three stents placed before he had a pacemaker implanted.  At first we were quite disappointed that he needed a pacemaker because we had assumed that the stents alone would give him a new lease of life but unfortunately he also had significant bradycardia/pausing present and needed the support of a PM.   But hubby is 81, with other significant health problems, so he is doing really well.

I had a heart attack 28th Jan 2019 and had one stent fitted same morning in my LAD.

I was then diagnosed with level 2 2nd degree AV block 9 months later and had a two lead pacemaker fitted on 24th October 2019 after shortage of breath climbing 12 flights of stairs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. So far so good with my recovery and feeling a lot more energetic.
