CHF

Hi can anyone tell me if they have developed CHF since getting a PM. I have had my duel PM for 21 months and last week while on holidays I was told I have CHF. I have never had any heart problems before I got the PM,now I seem to be having many more problems with heart issues. Any ideas?

just after the implant i could not breath. they said it was chf so i was put on a vent for a few hours. since no sign of it. i take a water pill. i don't know but many people have chf including my husband. he is at the end of his warranty as cab'g patch so nicely puts it. so hope this helps. jessie

That's why i got my PM/ICD in the 1st place. The device has helped my heart grow stronger according to my doc so I'm grateful for that. And when Cabg mentioned SCD, that is exactly what I was headed for without the device. The term CHF doesn't scare me so much anymore. What problems were you having when you received your PM?
