Don't blame the PM

Hi Friends,
I have been going to the EP to get my PM adjusted as I am tired all the time. The EP said my PM was fine, working as it should.
Well last week I got some pretty heavy news, I have myelona.
I have made this posting to tell everyone that not everything that goes wrong is the fault of the PM. I was in great health until I got the PM so I just assumed that was the problem with my health. I hope this posting will be of help to other pacers.

So sorry about your new diagnosis. I know that it is a scary thing to face, but at least the doctors know what is wrong and will come up with a treatment plan that hopefully makes you feel better.

You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Sorry to hear your news but you bring up a really good point.

Pacemakers (and ICDs) are very reliable and are rarely to blame for some of the problems that we all have from time to time. Even doctors will often blame the pacemaker before anything else! Thank you for posting your experience, I hope that you are ok.

I feel so blessed to have this little gem implanted in me. When I think of the alternative it is quite overwhelming sometimes.
