Can coughing dislodge leads

I have developed a cough and cold over the last two days.  Makes me cough so that chest hurts. Presumably thus can't dislodge the leads. Am about 12 weeks post insertion

Lead Dislodge

7 weeks after PM implant, my leads became dislodged.  Surgery to attach.  After a 5 day follow up...guess what?   Yep dislodged again!  My Dr was so dismayed, he said after 35 years he had NEVER had this happen.  The St Judes rep said she had been in the operating room since 1985 and had never heard of this either.  Eventually we got to the bottom of it...I had active Whooping Cough!!!!!  So here I am almost two years later doing great!  Thank you Lord for my experienced Pulmonologist who didn't give up!
