Several Visits to the hospital

I have just spent nearly a month in the hosp.   Pretty darned fuzzy , to tell the truth. Kidney stones, too much water to try to flush the stones,  PM going into EOL, A mew PM Generator.  Be glad to get this one behind me.  I have now met one surgeon wh has done at least three PMC members scattered over three states, plus the 89 YO mother of a friend I met in the waiting room for my own surgery.  Small world.  To quote my Cardio - "Ifn it's wierd, Don, it will happen to you." It WAS wierd, and it DID happen to me .

Must have ben some resort for you to stay that long.  So tell us, Don, how was the food?

BTW, I haven't told him that I'm a PCM member, so make that four.

Good to hear from you

Hello Donr,

I was wondering how you had fared after your Pacemaker change.  I didnt realise you had spent almost a month in hospital.  That must have been tough and I dont suppose you got much sleep with monitoring around the clock.  I hope the kidneys are working well and all those stones have been firmly flushed through the system.  Did they sort anything else out while you were in hospital, like your hernia ?  Sorry I am being nosy as usual.

It must be wonderful being back home after the hospital food, unless it is good out there.  Here in the UK it is dismal a lot of the time and no wonder most of us leave hospital more poorly than when we go in.

I hope your PVCs have quietened down and that your new generator is giving you a better quality of life.  Is it the same make/model, or have you gone for something different ?  Hopefully you have got the latest technology which is working well for you

Rest up now

Glad to have you back! If there was an award for weird things happening, it would be yours for sure.

Sorry you've had such a hard time. Hope things will be better now for you.

I admire how, no matter what happens, you maintain your sense of humor.

There isn't a problem in this world that seeing the funny side won't help.

Laugh on, my friend.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
