ICDs vs PMs

I had my first ICD interrogation yesterday but was troubled by one thing. It appeared that when they used to interrogate my PM, the procedure took about 20 minutes or so. The ICD interrogation took around 5 minutes. Very surprising to me. Is this the norm?

Interogation time

A typical interrogation and program for my Medtronic pacemaker only takes about 5 minutes. The longer times you experienced may have been due to their trying to find settings that worked well for you.
