New to the Club

Just to say hello to everyone. I received my pacemaker three days ago. Brief history, passsed out and fractured my elbow in July, 2019. After surgery to repair my elbow, I had a 30 day external recorder followed by an internal loop recorder. It recorded a seven second cease of heart activity on May 9. Cardiologist recommended and after research, I agreed to my new addition.

Welcome to the most exclusive club in the world.  I had my pacemaker fitted 10 months ago after collapsing in a car park, and I know how you must be feeling right now.  It's all a bit strange to begin with, but I'm sure you'll be feeling better soon.  My pacemaker is not only keeping me alive, but has transformed the way I feel, and I'm glad to have it.

You can now look forward to a new lease of life.
