Hi All,
I'm Paul from Kerala, Southern Province of India. Hope you're all safe during this Covid era. I have implanted pacemaker for the last 18 years. Now running on the Second one for the last 10 years. I have condition of Sick sinus syndrome and My pacer is St jude ddrcdual chambered, which is implanted on the right side and the leads on left side.
I have a concern of weight lifting using dumbbells. Is it possible for me to lift weights of 7kg pair and 10 kg pairs both my hands. Will it affect my pacer and heart adversely. Can I do push ups and cardio floor execercises regularly . I was around 95kg before , now reduced weights to 83.
Thank you all

I'd say "yes" but...

But you should ask your doctors these sorts of questions. There may be some non-obvious reason you shouldn't. There's no way we could know about it.
yes but check with your doctor first

I have had a pacemaker for almost 4 years. My doctor told me I could lift weights (after the 1st 6 weeks) as long as the weight I lifted could be done at least 12 times. Currently I am doing 65 push ups every morning, and using dumbells up to 60 lbs ( doing 15 reps)

It made a HUGE difference in my life. Once I got it, I was finally able to run, and ride my bike long distances.

You haven't mentioned anything questionable. Go for it!
