Good luck tomorrow with your CRT-D pacemaker! I had a CRT- P pacemaker fitted 2 months ago and I am hoping that my EF will improve. Do you know if you will be on any medication?

Wishing Daisy 2020 good luck

Hi Gemita! I was wishing Daisy 2020 good luck and posted it in the wrong place! I am feeling a lot better now and I have cut down on decaffeinated teas and coffees which has helped. I am waiting for an echocardiogram which has been delayed due to COVID.
Thank you for your advice and help!

If your EF doesn't improve, be evaluated tor His bundle pacing (Google that). You don't even need to go to Mayo or Cleveland clinic tor that any more. See: www.His-pacing,org too.

Thank you Terry for letting me know about HIS bundle pacing. I am waiting for an echocardiogram ( delayed due to COVID) to see if my LVSD and Ef have improved. I live in Scotland and HIS bundle pacing was not mentioned. Perhaps if I had this in January when I had a dual lead pacemaker fitted I would not have needed a CRT - P pacemaker in May.

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!
Are you wishing Daisy2020 good luck Aberdeen ?
