Bi-Vent W/ICD

Hi Pat,

Can I say a bi-vent pacemaker with ICD would really be an arm load of heart assisting devices?

Has your doctor said you are having, or that you are at risk for ventricular fibrillation? If the answer is yes, then of course you should include the ICD. If the answer is no, then another discussion with your doctor would, to me, be in order, as there should be a medical reason for the ICD feature. That is unless your doctor just looks upon including the ICD as about the same as most of us look on including a spare tire in the purchase of a vehicle. It is something we hope we will never need but it is nice to have it in case needed.

Sorry I can’t answer your question. Possibly some of the other members will have more to offer

Good luck,

Smitty

Pat,
I can't answer any of your questions but I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep up updated. I agree with Smitty on asking your doctor a lot of questions.
Blessings,
Tammy
