BP PM type implant

I have just been contact regarding a new implantable device that is similar to a PM but it is used to bring down BP in those that are not having any luck with BP meds.

I have had my PM for about 3 years, and am now on 4 BP meds a day which still are not bringing my BP down to an acceptable level. My question is this - has anyone in our PM Club, with an implanted PM, received one of these new devices?

The thought of one more thing implanted in me is not something I'd like, but my BP, even with 4 daily meds, is still running 160-80/ 90-110.

It's called, Rheos Baroreflex Hypertension Therapy System their web site: http://www.cvrx.com/medpros/index.php?id=15
I have been contacted to be part of the clinic trials. I am not sure I want another implanted device. I presently have the PM and recently had reconstructive surgery for breast cancer so I have 2 implants for that which brings the total to three.
