Golf

Good news. Just returned from my doctor's office after my first visit since the PM was put in on May 10, 2007. After testing the device he told me I could play golf in two weeks as long as I didn't try to act like Tiger Woods! Going to give it a go after six weeks for nine holes.

Thats great news Melvin. The only advice I would offer is not to give a full swing either forward or back, just take short strokes until it loosens up. Enjoy the links!

alright!

congratulations,
It's important to to get back out and return to normal as much as you can. Take it slow and don't be surprised if you still need some time to get back to where you were before. I agree with boatman, don't overextend to much
take care,
Rusty

Same Problem, Almost

I know where you are coming from. I had my PM put in back in September 2006. As I have posted before, the golf season was pretty much over where I live by that time, so I had all winter to recover. After a final chck with my Doc, I made my 2007 debut back in early May. Now I golf at least once a week. I can honestly say I do not think about my PM at all when I am golfing, I don't even know it's there and I take a big swing. Just remember to take it easy the first couple times out. I started with 9 holes for the first couple times and now I can play 18 with no problem. Good luck and remember to keep that head down.
