I am now six weeks out from my PM implant, and although I still am trying to regain my strength and controlling my anxiety problems, I am feeling better. This room has been a godsend for me. Thanks to all of you for your messages and comments. They are a tremendous help to me.

I wrote it yesterday about Give yourself some time. Pacers are great but not an instant cure as the Drs. think. It took me a good year and 1/2 to get back to normal. The anxiety is still there a bit but gets better every day. Somedays i don't even think about the pacer. I think after another good year I will forget it completely. Except at check up time. Getting Better

Sharon,

You are on your way! I am so glad you are feeling stronger and more relaxed. It will continue to get better as time passes and you live with your PM. Continue to ask questions and seek reassurance when you need it. That is what this site is for.
