Stress Test

I had a stress test just before my PM was implanted, so I'm just speculating.  The idea of a stress test is to look at the blood flow in the heart after exercise (duh!).  This can be done, obviously, by exercise and it can be simulated with drugs.  The drugs dilate the blood vessels much as exercise does.  If you're chronotropically incompetent, I'd image they'd have to do the chemical test, otherwise I don't see why they couldn't do it on a treadmill.

same as without

Nothing about the stress test changes if you are paced, same as before.

Nothing?

I couldn't get my heart rate to the target if I wanted to.  I did, rather easily, a week before my PM but not a chance since.  My PM runs the show now and it maxes out long before that.

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.
