Hello all,
Yes I know I have been a question maniac lately and I apologize! I just have a lot going on, trying to talk to my partner about stuff is like trying to explain calculus to a five year old. He is smart just doesn't understand all the cardiac stuff, y'all are my people!
I got my CPET moved to the 16th, but I got curious on whether or not they will cut me short if I start having runs of NSVT? I really need the data from the test as a prognostic marker so I am worried they will stop before it's finished.

Yeah I assumed the paddles would be ready in case of sustained VTach, my other half is all worried. I had to assure him that the cardiologists will be right there just in case! Good to know they won't stop me for ectopic beats etc otherwise I would likely never get to finish!
You know you're wired when...
You need to be re-booted each morning.

It's much better to live with a pacemaker than to risk your life without one.

No, your exercise test will continue if you have none sustained venticular tachycardia. It will not continue if sustained ( >30 seconds), but then the defibrillator paddles are already greased up to go!
A few ectopic beats with exercise are normal, as are short runs of ventricular tachycardia.
Rest assured they will keep a close eye on you.
