Pace maker has moved

I am post op 11 months with my second pace maker. However after a slight movement to my arm from its location on my left side chest above my breast, this morning it is gone!!  I finally was able to feel the edge of it deep in behind my breast tissue. Is this normal?  My first pace maker move a short distance towards my arm (I am a left side sleeper), but then stayed in place for 7 years.  I have reported it to my doctor, but feeling stressed about having further surgery.

My PM "slipped" and then began rotating when I bent over slightly.   I ended up having to have surgery again as it could poke through my skin or impact the leads somehow if it kept flipping over.   I didn't want surgery again, but I am grateful to have gotten it done quickly after it happened.  I didn't have much time to think about going through the process again.  I hope everything gets figured out for you quickly so you don't have to worry about it long.☺️

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
